Club training takes place on the club ice rink in accordance with the training schedule. There are separate schedules for all divisions and teams on the intranet. You can register for training in these schedules so that the training management can plan accordingly.
Admission to Dolder Kunsteisbahn
Those, who only enter the Dolder Kunsteisbahn for club training sessions and do not use the public ice rink either before or after club training sessions, do not have to pay Ice rink admission. Please use the separate entrance to the right of the main entrance. The access code will be communicated to members confidentially to ensure their admission.
If you do not know the code or have not received the training pan with codes, you will find this information on the notice board at the club desk or contact praesidium@ets-ecz.ch (Tel. 079 285 62 80).
Anyone who wishes to train individually on the public ice rink or on the coaches ice must pay the regular admission fee.
The codes for access to the club dressing room will be sent by separate e-mail and communicated in the corresponding chat in WhatsApp. There is a code for the first half of the season, valid from 18 October 2025 and a new code from 5 January 2026 until the end of the season. The club dressing room code is activated 30 minutes before the ice or ballet room time. Entry is free of charge for club training sessions. The entrance to the club dressing room is located to the right of the main entrance in the centre of the stone grandstand. Please only use this entrance if you only want to attend the club training sessions; if you use the official entrance, you will have to pay admission. It is forbidden to pass the code on to third parties.
There is no club training during the Zurich winter school holidays 22.12.2025 - 04.01.2026 (Christmas and New Year holidays).
During this time, the regular training times are not possible and the club dressingroom cannot be entered with the code during this time. We advise all those who wish to skate on the Dolder or another ice rink during this time to take their skates and equipment with them after the last training session before the winter holidays.
Training will also be cancelled on the following dates:
- Saturday, 15 November 2025 - ‘De schnällscht Zürischlifschue’
- Saturday, 15 January 2025 – Int. Züri Leu Cup curling tournament Limited training on a small field may be possible.
- Saturday, 31 January 2026 – Pond hockey tournament
Any further cancellation dates will be noted in the calendar and communicated separately.
Private ice skating lessons
must be arranged directly with the coaches and take place during reserved ice times on the ‘coach ice’. The costs and times for private lessons will be communicated by the coaches. Lessons that cannot be attended must generally be cancelled 24 hours in advance. In case of uncertain weather conditions, the coaches ask that you contact them in good time. The skating instructor reserves the right to decide whether the lesson will take place.

Resignation from the ET and SYS section
In accordance with our statutes, resignation must take place before the General Assembly in May and must be sent to the Presidium by email or post (praesidium@ets-ecz.ch). Approval will be granted as soon as all financial obligations to the club have been met.
If resignation or transfer from active to passive status is delayed, i.e. after the ordinary General Meeting, the original membership fee for the new financial year is still payable. This is because the corresponding fees must be paid to the main club and to Swiss Ice Skating .

The invoices for the membership fee of CHF 100.00 and the training fees will be sent by separate email by mid-October. Important: Payment can now only be made using a QR payment slip. We kindly request that you do not pay at the post office counter but by bank transfer or postal order.

If the amount invoiced has not been calculated correctly, please contact us by email at finanzen@ets-ecz.ch.
All training sessions are open to members only. The association year runs from 1 May to 30 April. Invoices are issued for the whole year; there are no ‘half-yearly contributions’. A one-time administration fee of CHF 30.00 is charged for new members.
Members without a training fee pay a club fee of CHF 100, as well as CHF 30.00 per individual training session with a coach and CHF 10.00 without coach (free practice).
Example: Thursday for 2 hours: 1 hour of guided training, 2nd hour of free practice: total CHF 40.00.
